Job Description

Decorate and write on cakes
Supervise and coordinate activities of the other bakery staff
Mix and bake ingredient according to recipes
Prepare various desserts at the request of Bakery Manager
Assist in developing new recipes for cakes and other baking goods
Train and mentor other bakers
Work alongside with Bakery Manager for performance appraisals

Skills and Requirements

Must be skilled in the use Fondant and whipped cream for cake decoration
Must be skilled in the use specific tools, like airbrush guns, modeling tools, cutter and mixers.
Ability to do mathematical conversions for mixing icing and creating elaborate cake decorations
Must be able to pay attention to details
Must be creative and artistic
Ability to work on your feet for extended hours
Ability to see different colors and hues when mixing icings and creating designs is critical.
Must be able to carve images and do a proper cake finishing
