Group Lead, Enterprise Projects

JOB PURPOSE

The Group Lead of Enterprise Projects will be responsible for the delivery of Transformation, Technology and Business Projects across the Group. They will operate at a strategic level in the Group and must have experience in agile delivery methodologies, program management, business transformation, strategy execution and operations. They must be able to flex between the strategic and operational aspects of various programs and projects so as to ensure alignment to the Group strategy and transformation agenda.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The holder of this role will work with the Group Transformation Office together with the Group’s Executive Leadership to:
Lead the Enterprise Projects Office (EPO) and supervise a team of Business and Technology Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and other Agile practitioners for efficient project delivery.
Developing and implementing project strategies that align with principles and ensure that daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives happen smoothly to keep the teams on track and allow for continuous improvement.
Champion and deliver group-wide business projects by creating a clear linkage between Business Strategy and the resulting execution of programs and projects.
Develop a group-wide project selection and prioritization framework and instill project delivery discipline between business, technology and other functions.
Ensure business and technology projects deliver intended financial and experiential outcomes through disciplined and consistent post-launch impact monitoring.
Develop group-wide project management best practices, tools and techniques and provide guidance, governance and standardized processes for the same.
Ensure Business programs/projects are initiated, planned, managed, and governed in a consistent, transparent, and disciplined manner
Conduct resource and capacity planning and establish and maintain key competencies, skills and standards, and determine and communicate key performance indicators for measuring project performance.
Apply a standard approach to portfolio/program/project management at a strategic level and formalize a common language for project managers and business stakeholders to ensure expectations are fully understood and met.

JOB PROFILE

Qualification 

Undergraduate Degree.
Certifications: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® or Agile Project and Delivery Management Certification or Disciplined Agile® Scrum Master Certification (DASM)
Added advantage: Master’s Degree
Experience and Proficiency in 
Agile Project Management Tools e.g. such as Smartsheet, Asana, Quickbase, Jira Core, Trello, Clickup etc.
10 years of overseeing large-scale and complex, multi-project, multi-geography Program and Project Management
Designing and deploying project governance methodologies and processes
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum/Lean principles and practices
Ability to lead and motivate dynamic and agile teams
Strong organizational, resource planning and management skills Skills & Personal Attributes
Strategic and innovative thinking with critical business analysis, solutioning and transformation abilities.
Excellent leadership and people management skills. 
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
