A prominent organization in the fintech sector is recruiting a seasoned, outcomes-focused Sales Manager—Cross-Border Payments to oversee and guide a dynamic sales team dedicated to delivering B2B cross-border payment solutions.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to oversee a range of essential duties, including managing daily operations, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, the role involves analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic initiatives to drive productivity and efficiency. Proficiency in relevant software tools and prior experience in a similar role are necessary, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and accountability.

Directly guide, mentor, and supervise a team of 5 to 10 Sales Representatives to consistently meet and exceed established sales objectives.

Utilize telemarketing, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings to expand the customer base and enhance acquisition efforts.

Design and execute strategic sales initiatives specifically tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in international commerce.

Develop and nurture robust professional connections with business proprietors, merchants, and pivotal figures within the industry.

Track team performance metrics, sales activities, and conversion rates to verify productivity levels and goal attainment.

Perform on-site evaluations and assist team members in finalizing agreements while addressing client concerns effectively.

Assess customer requirements and propose appropriate cross-border payment and settlement solutions.

Develop and deliver comprehensive market insights, sales reports, and competitive analyses to drive strategic business growth initiatives.

Leverage digital and social media channels to cultivate leads and foster meaningful interactions with customers.

Requirement

A minimum requirement includes an Associate Degree, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a closely related field.

Requires at least two years of direct experience in sales management, demonstrated through a proven history of guiding high-performing teams to success.

Proficiency in B2B sales, fintech, SaaS, taxation, cross-border logistics, or comparable sectors is strongly preferred.

Exceptional leadership abilities, outstanding communication, adept negotiation techniques, and a talent for relationship management are essential.

Dynamic, results-oriented professionals who excel in high-energy settings and maintain a strong drive to achieve objectives efficiently.

A pre-existing network within the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) exporter or trading community would be beneficial.

Proficiency in digital and social media channels for customer acquisition is advantageous.

Seeking a candidate whose preferred work location aligns with our office sites or designated remote work arrangements. A highly competitive monthly base salary is offered, starting at 521,000.00.

Generous commission structure with unlimited earning potential, including a KPI/bonus package valued at ₦279,000.00.

Monthly compensation amounts to a minimum of 800,000, with earnings determined by individual performance.
