General Manager – Supermarket

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a Supermarket.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of managerial experience in a retail or supermarket environment and will be responsible for driving the operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall performance of the store.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the supermarket, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service.
Oversee staff management, including, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Monitor and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Implement and maintain customer service policies to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
Compiles store performance metrics.
Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for increasing sales and profitability.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a retail or supermarket environment.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Flexible, proactive, and detail-oriented.
