LOCATION: Osogbo, Osun State.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee daily production, processing, and packaging operations.
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (HACCP, ISO22000).
Manage inventory, logistics, and supply chain.
Implement efficient production planning and scheduling.
Develop and execute business plans, budgets, and performance targets.
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer requirements.
Identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and process improvements.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.
Manage plant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Optimize profitability through efficient operations and cost reduction.
Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
Lead and manage a team of production, technical, quality, and administrative staff.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA).
Implement and maintain quality control systems (ISO 9001).
Oversee food optimum safety and hygiene practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in food science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
15 years of experience in food processing, preferably in cashew processing.
Vast international knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control, and industry standards.
Proven leadership and management skills.
Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, FSMA).
Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
