Job Summary
The General Manager will oversee all operational, financial, and strategic aspects of Tenny’s Place.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless management of our properties, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a strong background in hospitality management, operations, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Oversee daily operations across all Tenny’s Place locations, ensuring optimal service delivery and operational efficiency.
Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all departments.
Ensure the properties meet and exceed guest expectations in cleanliness, comfort, and functionality.
Guest Experience
Uphold and enhance the guest experience by addressing feedback and implementing service improvements.
Resolve guest issues promptly and effectively while maintaining a positive reputation for Tenny’s Place.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost control and financial sustainability.
Analyze financial reports to identify trends, optimize revenue, and minimize expenses.
Monitor cash flow, oversee billing processes, and ensure timely payments.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and manage a team of hospitality professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Data Collection, Technology & Systems
Leverage the company’s ERP system to track operations, manage inventory, and enhance guest services.
Ensure all digital tools and platforms are utilized effectively for reservations, billing, and reporting.
Marketing & Sales
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies that promote Tenny’s Place properties and services.
Build partnerships with key stakeholders in the hospitality and tourism industry.
Explore new opportunities for business growth and market penetration.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations.
Oversee risk management strategies, including security measures and property maintenance schedules.
Qualifications and Skills
Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior hospitality management role.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong financial acumen and budgeting expertise.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in hospitality management software and ERP systems.
Familiarity with Nigerian hospitality laws and market dynamics is an advantage.
