Responsibilities:
Sweeping and Raking
Removing Weeds
Clearing Debris (leaves, twigs, trash)
Cleaning Garden Paths and Walkways
Emptying and Cleaning Waste Bins
Washing Garden Furniture and Structures
Cleaning Water Features
Trimming Overgrown Grass or Hedges
Clearing Drainage Systems (gutters, downspouts).
Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations
Plant and nurture new trees
Install and maintain seasonal plants
Mow, trim and fertilize green spaces
Mulch, edge, and weed gardens
Advise management on the cost of plants and garden necessities with detailed quotations and reports• Prune and trim trees and bushes
Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery, like mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
Monitor and maintain the health of plants
Deal with pest problems that could damage plants
Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter.
And any other added responsibilities.
Requirements:
Qualification: O’level
Minimum of 3 – 7 years of experience as a Gardener
Familiarity with landscaping design
Extensive knowledge of regional plant life
Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them
Knowledge of synthetic and natural fertilizers
Knowledge of state health and safety regulations for landscaping
