Funding and Partnership Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Funding and Partnership Officer to drive growth through securing funding and fostering meaningful partnerships with our stakeholders. In this role, you will identify funding opportunities, apply for funding, build relationships with key stakeholders, and develop collaborative partnerships that align with our services. You will play a vital role in securing funding opportunities and establishing strategic partnerships that will drive the growth and success of our organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify grants, donors, and funding sources to support projects.
Develop compelling funding proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure funding opportunities.
Build and manage relationships with partners, donors, sponsors, investors, and government agencies.
Monitor and manage funding application processes, ensuring timely submissions.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align funding strategies with organizational objectives.
Negotiate agreements, MOUs, and contracts and accelerator participation with external partners on behalf of clients
Report on funding performance, partnerships, and KPIs regularly
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fundraising and partnership development.
Design and write strategy documents, concept ideas, annual impact report, and quarterly stakeholder report.
Assist in organizing fundraising events and campaigns to support the organization’s financial goals.
Maintain a comprehensive database of funding prospects and partnership opportunities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, communications, or related field.
Proven experience in securing grants, fundraising, or partnership development.
Strong networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in proposal writing and presenting ideas effectively (written and verbal communication skills).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
Collaborative skills with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting on funded projects.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Public Speaking and networking skills
Proficiency in using fundraising software and databases is a plus.
