Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking and proactive receptionist who will welcome visitors and clients, answer and direct phone calls, and perform other clerical and administrative tasks to support daily office operations.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock
Update calendars and schedule meetings
Arrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchers
Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
Qualifications
BSc / HND in any field
1-2 years experience working as a front desk/ receptionist in a corporate firm
Must be proficient in using Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word) and Google Docs etc
Proficiency in the use of Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and other virtual meeting tools is required
Must have completed 1 year of mandatory youth service.
Must have good organizational skills
Must have good communication, writing and reading skills
Must be detail-oriented.
Proximity to Transamadi and Peter Odili is required to cut down transportation.
