JOB SUMMARY
The Forklift Operators Supervisor is responsible for managing daily forklift operations in the factory and workshop settings, upholding safety standards, evaluating operator performance, and facilitating efficient material flow between production units.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties to ensure operational excellence, including strategic planning, team leadership, and performance monitoring. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity across all departments. Collaborate with senior management to align initiatives with organizational goals, drive innovation, and maintain a competitive edge. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Facilitate cross-functional communication and coordination to foster a cohesive and high-performing work environment. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Responsible for overseeing and managing the daily tasks and operations of forklift operators to ensure optimal performance and workplace efficiency.
Responsible for securely loading, unloading, stacking, and transporting materials to maintain safety and efficiency throughout operations.
Oversee the utilization of forklifts and verify adherence to established maintenance schedules to ensure operational reliability and safety compliance.
Ensure strict adherence to workplace health and safety regulations to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
Perform systematic evaluations of forklifts to identify any operational issues and document findings in a timely manner.
Provide instruction and mentorship to forklift operators, ensuring adherence to optimal operational standards and procedures.
Work with cross-functional teams, including workshop, production, and management, to maintain seamless operational workflows.
Oversee the management of fuel and battery systems to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
Holders of OND or SSC certificates are required.
Demonstrated expertise in overseeing forklift operations or comparable leadership positions is required.
A current forklift operator certification is considered a beneficial qualification.
Demonstrates exceptional leadership abilities and strong communication proficiency.
Possesses a solid grasp of safety protocols specific to workshop and manufacturing environments.
Proven capability to perform efficiently under demanding circumstances while coordinating the efforts of multiple operators seamlessly is essential.
