Fluids Coordinator

Job Summary

Our Client in the Oil and Gas servicing industry is seeking to hire a Fluids Coordinator. The main purpose of this role is to execute the Company’s business development strategy by building and extracting maximum value from business relationships and partnerships.

Job Location: Lagos/Port Harcourt

Responsibilities

Identifying, evaluating, and pursuing business opportunities with partners or potential customers.
Possess a strong understanding of drilling fluids, their chemical compositions, and their applications in the production chemicals industry.
Develop and maintain strong, respect-based relationships with existing and new clients. 
Work with other departments within the Company’s for synergy of implementing initiatives.
Support in the development of marketing and communication materials for engagements.
Research and provide timely, periodic, and relevant market information and analytics as well as competitive intelligence to guide investment decisions.
Contribute to the development of the annual budget for the Business Development Department.
Weekly and Monthly activity report on KPIs for monthly/quarterly business development reviews.
Achieve period targets in accordance with all company procedures and code of business conduct.
Self-generate and qualify leads from a variety of sources as well as appointments with potential customers and stakeholders.
Pipeline management: Build sales pipeline, develop, and implement sales activity plans across the period and year.
Identify sales opportunities and potential customers. Increased sales activities for new and existing clients.
Participate in all aspects of technical sales development, project requirements, facilitate the bid/tendering process.
Maintain all prospective customer data in the company database and use the information contained therein for prospective customer and partner interactions.
Demonstrate accountability for the team performance against set goals.
Develop, present and implement plans for acquiring new partners/customers, including activity breakdowns, resource requirements, forecasting and budget planning.
Responsible for assessing opportunities for their potential to create long-term value and determining available paths for pursuing those opportunities.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Physical sciences, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. Must have an NYSC certificate.
Proven experience in a drilling fluids sales coordination role.
Strong technical knowledge of drilling fluids and the applications.
