We are seeking a Fleet Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding our fleet, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining optimal performance of all fleet-related activities. This role demands strategic thinking and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Expansion:
Build, develop and implement strategies to increase the size and quality of the fleet, ensuring the addition of reliable and compliant vehicles.
Fleet Performance Monitoring:
Oversee fleet performance, ensuring vehicles meet operational and safety standards.
Partner Management:
Build and maintain relationships with vehicle suppliers, maintenance vendors, and other service providers
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Experience: Experience in fleet management, sales, logistics, or a related field, preferably in a ride-hailing.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Leadership and team management experience.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of local transportation regulations in Lagos and Nigeria.
