Job Description
A Warehouse Manager in Olam Agri is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse facility, ensuring efficient inventory management, optimal space utilisation, and timely order fulfilment.
The role involves managing the receiving, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods, while maintaining accuracy in inventory records and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
The incumbent collaborates with cross-functional teams to coordinate logistics, streamline warehouse processes, and support smooth manufacturing and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch
Ensure accurate inventory management, stock reconciliation, and adherence to FIFO/FEFO principles
Manage dispatch planning, documentation, and coordination with logistics teams
Maintain ERP accuracy and ensure proper documentation and reporting
Ensure product quality, safe storage conditions, and compliance with standards
Drive operational efficiency through performance monitoring and continuous improvement
Lead and supervise warehouse teams to achieve productivity and performance targets
Enforce health, safety, and regulatory compliance across all warehouse activities.
Job Requirements
Experience:
8 –10 years of experience in warehousing or supply chain management
Strong experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, and distribution management
Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
Proven ability to manage cross-functional coordination and maintain efficient operations.
Qualifications
HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills
Solid understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse processes
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Effective leadership and team management skills
Ability to foster a positive and productive work environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and coordination skills.
