JOB DUTIES / DESCRIPTION
Manage all accounting operations including but not limited to Cost Accounting, Treasury, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition etc.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and support month-end and year-end close process.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and research technical accounting issues for compliance.
Financial Systems and technology. Ensure quality control over financial transactions/reporting leading to efficient financial processes and data integrity.
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Team leadership and mentorship. Provide mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Serves as a business partner and member of the organization strategic team and also in other roles as assigned by the board of directors
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA etc.) is a must.
Must not be below 45 years of age at the point of applying.
15+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
