Job Description Cash Management & Finance:
Daily management of cash flow, processing cash movements, bank reconciliation
Ability to raise and negotiate financing and communicate properly with financial institutions
Preparation and interpretation of budget & mid-term business plans
Daily financial and operational follow-up & performance reporting
Undertaking ad-hoc financial analysis on asset productivity, margins, profitability and liquidity / solvency, project’s payback & return
Controlling OPEX and CAPEX
Accounting & Administration:
Book-keeping and preparation of financial statements (cash flow, balance sheet, income statement)
Ensure proper relation and cooperation with local auditors
Invoicing and revenue reconciliation
Developing and maintaining a solid internal control system preventing fraud and errors
Preparation of salary slips
Tax & legal:
Preparing and processing of the organization’s taxations (tax return , VAT…) in accordance with Law and other regulations
Identification of tax risks and development of a tax optimization strategy
Broad knowledge in international taxation
Understanding and recording main legal documentation (contracts, minutes of meetings..)
Competences
Degree in Financial Management / Accounting / Tax & Finance
Strong experience as a finance manager or equivalent position
Financial modeling & controlling skills
Cash management
Good knowledge of local taxation
Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
Well-developed communication skills with internal and external stakeholders (banks, shareholders, tax administration…)

Committed and dynamic
Experience in trucking / transportation can make a difference
Job located in Lagos with very frequent trips to Calabar
