Responsibilities
Oversee the financial and management accounting function.
Oversee the treasury and accounts payables function.
Oversee the credit and receivables function.
Source for funds for company projects.
Manage very sound relationships with banks/financial institutions.
Manage a sound relationship with regulatory bodies.
Ensure sound financial reporting always.
Ensure the realization of the corporate strategy from a finance perspective.
Person specification:
Minimum of 10 years post – professional experience, at least 4 of which must be in management position in a reputable business environment.
Strong Project funds sourcing ability.
Demonstrable sound finance function management ability.
Demonstrable sound relationship with banks/financial institutions.
Experience in developing accounting systems, processes, policies and procedures are essential.
A second degree/ MBA an added advantage
SAP ERP Savvy an added advantage.
Very sound knowledge of accounting standards
IFRS knowledge is essential
