Financial Advisor/Business Development Manager

Reports to: Branch Manager

Location: Ibadan, Ring Road

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Financial Advisor/Business Development Manager (Trainee). As a trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training and development to become a skilled financial advisor and business development professional. You will learn how to provide expert financial advice to clients, identify new business opportunities, and develop strategic plans to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Training and Development:

  Undergo intensive training and development program to learn financial advisory and business development skills
  Complete coursework, attend workshops, and participate in on-the-job training

Client Support:

Assist senior financial advisors in providing support to clients
 Learn how to conduct client meetings, gather financial information, and provide basic financial advice

Business Development:

 Assist in identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic plans to pursue them
 Learn how to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders

Market Research and Analysis:

 Assist in conducting market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
 Learn how to analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities and risks

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to achieve business objectives
Learn from experienced colleagues and contribute to team discussions and brainstorming sessions

Requirements:

Education:

 Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
Fresh graduates or those with less than 2 years of experience are welcome to apply

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
