Our client, a leading distributor of alcoholic beverages, is actively seeking to fill the position with Finance Manager.
Oversee a range of critical duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs. Conduct regular assessments to evaluate performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align objectives, streamline processes, and foster innovation. Maintain clear documentation of progress, risks, and resolutions while adhering to company policies and industry standards. Additionally, lead training initiatives to enhance team capabilities and ensure consistent adherence to best practices.
Conduct and manage reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial records.
Maintain meticulous accuracy and thoroughness in all financial records.
Examine general ledger entries to identify and correct any inconsistencies or discrepancies.
Facilitate the completion of month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee financial control systems and verify adherence to established internal policies.
Collaborate effectively with various departments to address and rectify financial discrepancies.
Assist in audit processes and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and provided.
Oversee and mentor junior finance personnel as necessary to ensure their professional development and operational efficiency.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related discipline is required for this position.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of four to seven years of hands-on experience in finance or accounting.
Proven expertise in executing balance sheet reconciliations with precision.
Experienced with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, ensuring seamless accounting operations and efficient financial management.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, particularly in environments characterized by high inventory turnover.
Demonstrates exceptional precision and analytical thinking to identify and resolve challenges effectively.
