Job Summary
Our client, an accounting and tax firm, is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Manager to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, auditing, and accounting, with a preference for individuals who have worked at a Big Four firm for at least four years or a second-tier audit firm for at least six years.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal financial policies.
Make recommendations on cash flow, working capital, and financial controls.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management of clients for strategic decision-making.
Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their external auditors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of management accounts/ unaudited financial statements, tax returns, and other regulatory reports.
Utilize accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks to manage financial data efficiently.
Prepare and deliver financial presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA), with ACCA preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience at a Big Four audit firm or at least 5 years at a second-tier audit firm.
Proven expertise in financial management, reporting, and compliance.
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Excellent client management and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Hands-on experience using Sage or QuickBooks accounting software.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
