Reporting hierarchically to the Country Manager and functionally to Finance Developing & New Companies Manager, the main objectives of the role will include:
Manage the accounting, credit, treasury, budgeting and related activities of the company
Liaise with Tax/accounting/payroll external consultant
Support the Managers in analysing the outcome of management results, providing the needed support in order to properly understand any aspect and actions effect and helping them to put in place any activity needed in order to meet results.
Ensure the proper and complete implementation of the Group policies
Requirements
A graduate in a relevant subject such as accounting, business or financial management. Accounting qualification needed
at least 5 years professional experience in similar position in a industry (preferably multinational);
Deep knowledge of local GAAP
Excellent analytical ability, communication skills, pro-activity and autonomy are required for this role.
Exposure to major ERP system, preferably SAP R3;
Orientation to work with strict deadlines
Excellent spreadsheet skills
Some travel required
Tasks
Ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting for both Statutory and Management Reporting purposes, interacting with the Local Board of Directors, Corporate Departments and the European organization. Interact with Industrial Controlling function based in Italy HQ
Manage the local Accounts Receivables and Credit Control
Cooperate with Finance HQ Office to manage external and internal audit process.
Manage Treasury matters, in coordination with Group Treasury Office. Support Corporate initiatives in this area
Responsibility of the controlling side: budgeting, management reporting, business analysis. Therefore, he/she is acting as business partner for all Finance matters in the region.
Ensure together with HR department and the external consultant, that the company complies with the statutory calculations and remittance of payroll taxes and social security contributions.
As a member of the management team, review proposed major organizational changes .
