Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance.
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful commentary on variances.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual results andbudget/forecast
Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies.
Perform profitability analysis by product, customer, or segment.
Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditure requests.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads.
Develop and maintain budget templates and guidelines. Manage variance.
Monitor budget performance and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare rolling forecasts to provide updated projections of future performance.
Financial Reporting:
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting records.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (or other relevant accounting standards).
Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting regulations and tax laws.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies.
