Job Summary
Overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations as well as drive improvements to procedures and controls.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate record for all the source documents used for daily financial transactions.
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliation statements for the company.
Perform POS reconciliation with the bank and ensure compliance with agreed POS charges.
Ensure appropriate approval on the expenses used for the daily running of the business.
Perform oversight function on the activities of petty cash expenses.
Posting of all the expenses head to appropriate heading in the system
Maintaining payable and receivable balance in the system.
Maintaining fixed assets registered in the system
Liaise with external auditor on financial-related issues.
Requirements
B.Sc. or HND in Accounting
Professional qualification will be an added advantage
A minimum of 2-4 years work experience in similar role
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
The ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
The capacity to make quick but rational decisions
The ideal candidate MUST be resident in OPIC estate, Kara, Berger or environs.
Knowledge of quick books is an added advantage
High numeracy and sound technical skills
Problem-solving skills and initiative
