Job Summary
As the Field Engineer, your responsibilities will include supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of elevator systems, while ensuring strict compliance with technical specifications, safety regulations, and project deadlines.
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to established protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and deliverables. Install, deploy, and activate elevator systems at various project locations, ensuring proper setup, functionality verification, and final commissioning.
Professionally assess technical drawings, wiring schematics, and installation guidelines to derive accurate interpretations.
Perform comprehensive pre-installation assessments to verify that all site conditions meet the required standards prior to commencing any work.
Proactively diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions encountered throughout the installation and commissioning phases.
Guarantee adherence to established safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and project delivery timelines to uphold organizational excellence and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Hold an HND or a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
A minimum of three years of practical experience in elevator or MEP installation is required.
Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and technical drawings.
OEM elevator training certification enhances qualifications for the role, providing a competitive edge in the hiring process.
Proficient in performing duties on-site, at elevated heights, and across various project locations.
