This role is pivotal in supporting missionaries in fulfilling their divine commission to ‘Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.’ As an entry-level professional, Teachers collaborate with missionaries across diverse environments and subjects to enhance their preparedness. Training responsibilities encompass language proficiency, doctrinal instruction grounded in *Preach My Gospel*, and the cultivation of essential missionary competencies. Teachers are responsible for mentoring both junior and senior missionaries during pre-MTC, MTC, and post-MTC phases. They adhere to a structured curriculum and may be chosen to contribute to pilot programs or special initiatives.

Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company policies, maintaining high standards of service and productivity. Monitor team performance, providing guidance and support to enhance individual and collective output. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental objectives, aligning with organizational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth among staff while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols.

The position requires reporting to a trainer or supervisor within the Training department.

Offers guidance, support, and constructive feedback to missionaries across various training formats, including individual coaching sessions, small group discussions, large-scale workshops, and tracking engagement on Canvas discussion platforms and boards.

Plans and develops lesson plans aligned with the approved curriculum in collaboration with a companion teacher (where applicable) to address the specific needs of missionaries.

Oversees and guides missionaries in organizing and managing their educational planning and financial accounting processes.

Executes directives and guidance provided by the Teacher Trainer/Supervisor, the Manager of Training, and the Senior Manager of Training.

Attends weekly training sessions and engages in collaborative co-teacher discussions.

Provides support to area leadership by facilitating coordination with mission and Missionary Department leadership as needed.

Prepares and presents detailed updates regarding the status and advancements of delegated projects to senior management for review and decision-making.

Instructors provide guidance to missionaries, both in preparatory sessions and during actual lessons, ensuring effective skill development and execution.

Candidates may be required to evaluate the language proficiency of prospective missionaries and teachers in the target language.

May occasionally serve in an acting capacity to portray an individual who is not a member and is inquiring about The Church of Jesus Christ.

Depending on available scheduling, you may assume supplementary duties as a Training Area Assistant.

Additionally, this position may entail other temporary duties as assigned within the Mission Training Center, such as supporting Mission Leadership Seminars.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role, complemented by a strong academic background in a related field. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Required:

You must have completed a full-time missionary assignment and returned.

Proficiency in the designated second language is required for roles involving language instruction.

Possesses a comprehensive grasp of the principles outlined in Preach My Gospel, including its methodology, doctrines, and teaching approaches.
