Job Summary
The Facility officer will oversee the maintenance and operations of rooms and apartments within their estate in Ikoyi.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the properties are well-maintained, safe, and efficiently managed while coordinating with vendors, service providers, and residents.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily management and maintenance of rooms and apartments within the estate.
Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure facilities remain in top condition.
Coordinate repairs, renovations, and servicing of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Manage relationships with service providers, vendors, and contractors to ensure quality service delivery.
Address resident complaints and facility-related requests in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor and maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service contracts, and vendor agreements.
Collaborate with the property management team to improve operational efficiency.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility management, particularly in residential properties, rooms, or serviced apartments.
Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and estate management.
Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software is an advantage.
