Facility Manager – Sangotedo

Position Overview:

The Facility Manager will be responsible for ensuring the hospital\’s infrastructure, equipment, and environment are operating at peak performance and that the users of the facility are safe. This role involves managing maintenance staff, coordinating with external contractors, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital\’s facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of hospital equipment and infrastructure.
Manage and supervise maintenance staff and external contractors.
Coordinate with medical staff to address facility-related issues that may impact patient care.
Monitor and control the facility budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any potential hazards or deficiencies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment servicing, and safety checks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
