Facility Manager

Mission Objective  

The Operations Facilities unit provides technical and programmatic support services in the areas of Facility & Safety Management, External Facility Management, IT, Fleet Management and expansion Project Management which is critical to achieving the organization’s mission through resource planning, coordination, and management to support the organization’s internal and external stakeholders. 
The Operations Manager oversees the provision of facilities, Safety and fleet management services and makes strategic decisions for the growth of the Operations department and is involved in quality management and improvement programs in the organization to ensure high-quality patient experience. ​

Duties And Responsibilities 

PURPOSE

Writing, updating and implementing JCI policies.
Develop, recommend, and administer policies, procedures, and processes in support of grounds and building maintenance operations; implement and monitor compliance with approved policies, procedures, and processes.

ENGAGEMENT

Emergency Codes training across all EHA Clinics facilities.
Make aware of opportunities/challenges emerging in program/service area (specify)
Liaise with the Supply Chain department to manage operations vendors. Emergency Codes training across all EHA Clinics facilities.
Engage with government agencies to ensure statutory compliance.

DELIVERY

Monitoring Operational Performance Of Security Service Providers. Initiating cost-saving strategies.
Generate departmental reports to be analyzed by the Chief Operating Officer. Collect and analyze a variety of complex data and information, including utility costs and usage. Perform statistical analysis and summarize findings in applicable reports or other communication mediums.
Managing/monitoring team KPI, budgeting, tracking and Planning. Audit of Office Premises & Building’s Security & Safety.
Initiating cost-saving strategies.

Targeted Specialized Knowledge  

Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, project management, Engineering or related field.
6+ years’ proven experience in an operations management position. Strong budget development and oversight skills
Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications;proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Engineering graduate is a very strong advantage. Working knowledge of project management software programs, including
ASANA, Odoo (work collaboration tools) Certification in Project Management.
