Executive Housekeeper

Job Overview:

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and organization in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and schedules.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment, and coordinate timely replenishment.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
Train, mentor, and manage housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Address and resolve guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services promptly.
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget, monitoring expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the property.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to handle pressure and multitask effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Familiarity with safety and hygiene regulations.

Educational Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
