Job description
A Lagos-based online newspaper is looking for an experienced entertainment reporter for full-time employment.
Responsibilities:
Collecting, verifying, writing and publishing entertainment stories for an online newspaper run by professional journalists
Requirements
Up to the minute knowledge about personalities and trends in the Nigerian entertainment scene
Good command of the English Language
Ability to gather, write and self-edit stories
Broad knowledge of headlines
Computer proficiency (MS Office, WordPress, SEO, web search)
Active presence on social media
At least one-year experience reporting entertainment for a print or online newspaper
Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
Minimum education required: OND
Proximity to Anthony Village in Lagos is an advantage.
