Req I D: Req-1088 Description
Play a leading and collaborative role within Project development, reporting to, and working closely with (particularly) the Project Manager.
Establish and lead the Engineering function supporting the Project
Be Technical Advisor, as relates to job holders core discipline, supporting Company’s Corporate Engineering whenever resident in Lagos Office and so requested.
Support other members of Project management team
Interface with DPR and other Government officials on engineering matters
Main Job Functions
Lead Project Engineering efforts
Guide Project Engineering contractors
Interface with Government officials on engineering matters
Propose recruitment, retention, competency, development and demobilization of Project staff
Support Project commissioning and operations readiness/ development
Qualifications
Chartered Engineer Status
20 plus years related experience leading to senior roles in Oil and Gas sector for past 10 years Experience in development execution of projects exceeding £100mm
Experience in Oil and Gas field production and commissioning
Knowledge of Oil Field contracts and contracting strategies Mentoring and coaching of others
