JOB DESCRIPTION
Conduct material testing (soil, asphalt, concrete, sand, cement) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform on-site tests, including compaction, load-bearing capacity, and deflection tests.
Accurately record test data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to engineers.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results.
Monitor construction quality and provide feedback to the site team.
Follow safety regulations in both laboratory and fieldwork.
Prepare and submit test reports to project managers and stakeholders.
Fixed work location with frequent work trips
SKILL REQUIREMENT
Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, or relevant highway engineering standards.
Proficiency in laboratory procedures such as soil compaction tests, CBR tests, and Marshall stability tests.
Ability to operate laboratory equipment like CBR testing machines, compaction equipment, and universal testing machines.
Basic proficiency in data processing tools like Excel.
Physically fit for outdoor and on-site work.
Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
Knowledge of laboratory and site safety procedures.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
HND,Bsc in Civil Engineering, Road & Bridge Engineering, Material Science, or related fields.
