About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Response Team (ERT) Supervisor to join our team.
The ERT Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the emergency response operations, ensuring the safety and security of all employees, and coordinating with various departments to manage emergency situations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the Emergency Response Team to ensure preparedness and effective response to emergencies.
Develop, implement, and update emergency response plans, procedures, and protocols.
Conduct regular training and drills for the ERT and other employees.
Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services during incidents.
Assess and manage risks related to emergency situations.
Maintain emergency equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
Provide guidance and support to employees during emergencies.
Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Emergency Management, or a related field.
Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Emergency Response.
Certification in Safety Management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency response or safety management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and emergency response software.

Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various departments.
Knowledge of local emergency services and regulations.
