Job Summary
The Electrician is responsible for maintaining voltage circuits and performing basic electrical operations to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all electrical systems within the mining facility.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on voltage circuits and electrical systems.
Inspect and troubleshoot electrical issues to prevent downtime and ensure continuous operation.
Repair and replace faulty wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Install new voltage electrical systems and components as required.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to electrical maintenance and safety.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
Report any major issues or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years of experience.
Experience working as an electrician or electrical engineer
Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting low-voltage electrical systems.
Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
