Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to support production operations.
Troubleshoot electrical faults, control panels, and automation systems to minimize downtime.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical components and machinery.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and company policies.
Work closely with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment efficiency.
Implement energy-saving strategies to optimize power consumption and reduce operational costs.
Perform electrical system inspections, testing, and documentation for audits and reports.
Assist in the installation, calibration, and upgrade of electrical systems in production lines.
Analyze electrical failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Stay up to date with emerging electrical technologies to enhance system performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree/HND in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and system design, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of PLC systems, industrial automation, and electrical circuit troubleshooting.
Experience with electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control systems.
Familiarity with safety standards, regulatory codes, and energy management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electrical design software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
