Responsibilities
Create an aesthetically supportive learning environment which fosters inquiry, creativity, thinking and independence that ensures learners meet their learning goals.
Understand the use of phonics to introduce learners to reading.
Teach the learners the important rules of word problems, problem solving quantitative reasoning skills, and also the use of mental strategy and its diverse methods.
Identify learners with special requirements, and create individualized plans.
Assist struggling learners to improve their learning abilities.
Plan and implement lessonsto stimulate the learners’ development.
Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to promote the learning and implementation of best practices.
Monitor and set targets for the social and academic progress of learners.
Build trusting relationships with learners, parents, and other staff
Oversee the learners’ progress by tracking their assignment and exam grades, in order to provide useful feedback.
Requirements
Candidates should possess B.Ed Degrees in Early Childhood Education or related course with 2 – 6 years relevant work experience.
Previous experience as an early years teacher in an International school.
Deep Understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage framework..
Possess a patient and resilient personality.
Strong dedication to students and have a passion for education.
Excellent written, oral communication and exceptional organizational skill.
Strong commitment for professional development.
