Are you an experienced and dynamic professional with a passion for logistics and distribution? Join Vitafoam Nigeria, a leading manufacturer of polyurethane foam products, as a Distribution Manager in our Lagos or Kano office.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and coordinating the total flow of logistics process, both inbound and outbound
Develop and implement effective distribution strategies to optimize product delivery.
Manage the entire distribution process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and fleet management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, customers, and transport partners.
Monitor distribution performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Prepare and present periodic reports on distribution operations and performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in inventory management systems and MS Office tools.
Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations in Nigeria.
Experience managing multi-location distribution networks is an advantage.
