Function(s)
The Director, University Health Services, is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor in providing professional and administrative leadership at the University Health Centre(s).
The Director performs the duties of Chief Medical Director, recommends the appointment of staff, and oversees their deployments.
Additionally, the Director initiates and makes recommendations for manpower development, provides community services in accordance with the town and gown relationship, and undertakes other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
Qualification(s):
Must possess an MBBS Degree from a recognised institution;
Must be a registered member of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN);
Must possess NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate or Letter of Exclusion where applicable;
Appropriate computer literacy is mandatory; 5. Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience as a medical practitioner.
Duration:
The tenure of the Director is for a single term of five (5) years, non-renewable on Salary Scale CONMESS 7.
