POSITION SUMMARY:

The Head of Growth oversees Gamma’s country deployment pipeline, effectively transforming lead generation into vehicle-ready captains at scale throughout Nigeria. This role implements Gamma’s complete country deployment strategy through a multichannel acquisition framework, a centralized conversion process, and a comprehensive training and onboarding system that spans all operational cities.

This senior commercial leadership position features substantial matrix complexity, requiring oversight of a diverse array of growth drivers. The Head of Growth will lead field agents, platform partnerships, OEM channels, and community referrals while collaborating closely with key functions such as Marketing, Customer Success, Risk, and Operations. Ideal for a seasoned operator, this role demands a strong sense of collective responsibility and the ability to drive cross-functional synergies in a rapidly expanding organization.

Deliverables & Accountabilities:

The successful candidate will be tasked with executing a range of duties that include, but are not limited to, project management, stakeholder liaison, and process optimization. Key responsibilities encompass overseeing deliverables from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance standards. Additionally, the role demands proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and uphold quality benchmarks. The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, conducting performance evaluations, and reporting progress to senior management on a regular basis.

Responsible for managing and optimizing pipeline management, channel mix strategies, and partnership development initiatives, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and revenue targets.

Oversee the unified lead pipeline for the entire country, serving as the single accountable figure across all input channels, regardless of the functions managing them.

Set and optimize the country-specific channel mix across field, partner, community, and digital platforms, carefully balancing the combination to drive volume, maintain high-quality engagement, and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Analyze conversion losses throughout the entire acquisition funnel and implement targeted interventions to ensure monthly deployment targets are consistently met.

Oversee the performance of channels in collaboration with peer functions, ensuring adherence to committed volumes; when necessary, initiate and lead recovery strategies to mitigate risks to these commitments.

Build and maintain strategic commercial partnerships with essential acquisition collaborators, such as ride-hailing services, delivery networks, and automotive dealerships or showrooms.

Drive strategic OEM channel partnerships, focusing on co-marketing initiatives and dealer activation strategies for Gamma’s entire vehicle lineup.

Responsible for overseeing conversion initiatives, delivering comprehensive training programs, and facilitating seamless onboarding processes, this role ensures smooth transitions for new employees and customers alike. Duties include designing and implementing instructional materials, conducting orientation sessions, and monitoring progress to identify areas for improvement. Requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of training methodologies, and the ability to adapt content to diverse learning styles. Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement is highly desirable.

Drive the nation’s conversion engine with precision, transforming high-potential leads into fully signed, vehicle-ready customers through scalable processes.

Improve conversion rates by transforming qualified leads into signed customers and analyze drop-off patterns by source and city to implement targeted solutions.

Responsible for overseeing Training & Onboarding initiatives in every city, including assessing induction completion rates, maintaining training standards, and optimizing time-to-handover efficiency.

Ensure captains complete comprehensive training and onboarding, fully preparing them for vehicle readiness by the time of handover, when the customer assumes responsibility for city-level operations.

Drive quality assurance initiatives and assess cohort performance outcomes to ensure program effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Own accountability for the quality of growth leads, as determined by their performance during evaluation, conversion, and subsequent early cohort outcomes.

Develop and oversee the channel mix strategy to ensure not only the delivery of the required volume but also the attainment of cohorts that align with underwritten performance expectations.

Collaborate with the Risk team to establish a feedback mechanism that links lead quality at the source level with cohort outcomes, distinguishing between quality issues stemming from channel or source factors and those arising from credit policy.

Drive forward Growth’s strategic focus within the nation’s cohort-quality dialogue by providing substantiated source and channel insights for senior portfolio evaluations.

Growth Analytics & Funnel Diagnostics involves leveraging data-driven strategies to assess and optimize user acquisition, engagement, and conversion metrics. This role requires expertise in analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, diagnose drop-off points, and implement improvements across the customer journey. Responsibilities include monitoring funnel performance, diagnosing inefficiencies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute data-backed optimizations. Proficiency in analytics tools, statistical analysis, and reporting is essential, along with a strong understanding of growth methodologies and experimentation frameworks.

Manage the country growth dashboard, tracking pipeline by source, conversion by stage, training throughput, handover readiness, and cohort quality follow-through.

Develop the analytics infrastructure that supports Growth’s strategic decision-making, including funnel diagnostics, lead quality reporting segmented by source, and insights derived from senior forum contributions.

Instrument source-level and channel-level data to facilitate immediate diagnosis, shifting from month-end post-mortem evaluations to real-time insights.

Apply rigorous, data-driven analysis to strategic growth discussions at the senior level, converting funnel metrics into actionable insights and well-reasoned trade-offs.

We foster a dynamic team environment by offering leadership opportunities and developing robust functional capabilities, empowering professionals to advance both personally and professionally within the organization.

Develop and guide a high-caliber senior Growth team, overseeing critical areas such as user acquisition, conversion optimization, training and onboarding, strategic partnerships, and data-driven analytics—establishing rigorous standards for talent excellence, measurable performance, and unwavering accountability throughout the organization.

Foster an environment characterized by transparency, data-backed decision-making, and ownership of results, prioritizing collective success over individual or departmental excuses—where cross-functional teams collaborate as allies rather than adversaries.

Serve as a trusted counterpart to other country heads, leading forums, facilitating trade-offs, and applying structured judgment to high-level decisions.

At the Country Manager and senior leadership level, Growth will be represented by translating funnel realities into strategic recommendations and guiding the company’s growth trajectory.
