Job Description
The Direct Sales Representative (DSR) is a direct marketing role involving field sales and marketing, in which you will promote products, services and brands to an audience of both existing and potential customers. It is the job of the DSA to help increase sales by raising the profile of the business, through targeted promotional marketing campaigns and strategies.
Typical tasks include meeting with clients to discuss products and services, devising marketing ideas, keeping projects on budget and making sure all campaigns run smoothly. In order to meet tight deadlines, overtime may be necessary. You could also be asked to attend events like product launches or exhibitions outside of working hours. Generate revenue from existing clients as well as seeking new clients. Achieving the required sales target. Indoor and outdoor presentation, reporting to the unit sales supervisor.
The required candidate should be dynamic, presentable and team player. We offer a healthy and open working environment. Compensation package is competitive and largely commission based.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries;
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
Feeding future buying trends back to employers;
Requirements
Required Experience: 1-3 year(s)
Desired Courses: University/Polytechnic graduate from any field but with a drive For Direct Selling.
