Job Description
Develop and implement effective strategies to attract new depositors and retain existing ones.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for deposit growth.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including market leaders,and businesses.
Train, monitor and supervise a team of deposit mobilisation officers.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
Prepare regular reports on deposit performance and present findings to management.
Identify and address any challenges or issues affecting deposit mobilization.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies related to deposit mobilization.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all deposit mobilization activities.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in deposit mobilization in the microfinance industry.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience managing a team of deposit mobilization officers.
Strong understanding of deposit products and services, including savings accounts, fixed deposits, and other deposit instruments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong work ethic and a commitment to customer service.
