Job Description
In fulfilling his or her responsibilities, the successful Candidate will:
Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions;
Analyse data from the Company’s database to drive optimization and improve product development, marketing techniques and business strategies;
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques;
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets;
Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes;
Develop Company A/B testing framework and test model quality;
Coordinate different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes; and
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyse model performance and data accuracy;
Other responsibilities as defined by the Management team.
Requirements
A Bachelors’ degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science;
A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science is an added advantage;
Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience;
Relevant certification in Data Analysis;
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development;
Experience in the use of statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets;
Relevant experience in the creation of Data Architectures;
Sound knowledge in a variety of machine learning techniques; and
Sound knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts and experience with applications.
