Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships.
You will be responsible for handling inquiries, processing orders, managing events, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
A passion for food and events, combined with excellent communication skills and social media proficiency, is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, in-person, and social media platforms. Provide detailed information about our catering services, menus, pricing, and availability.
Accurately take and process catering orders, ensuring all details are captured, including event date, time, location, guest count, menu selections, and special requests.
Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless event execution. Communicate client needs and preferences to the kitchen staff, event coordinators, and delivery personnel.
Address customer concerns and complaints with empathy and efficiency. Work to find solutions that satisfy the customer and maintain a positive relationship.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell catering services. Provide quotes and proposals to potential clients. Follow up on leads and inquiries.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Proactively seek feedback to improve service quality. Engage with customers on social media, responding to comments and messages.
Develop a thorough understanding of our catering menus, services, and pricing. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
Assist with social media content creation and scheduling. Monitor social media channels for mentions and feedback. Respond to inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the hospitality or catering industry.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with social media platforms, and social media management tools.
Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.
