JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our fast-paced Operations team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of credit principles, loan request procedures, and financial statement analysis.
This individual will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our credit processes, from reviewing loan applications to generating comprehensive reports.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Prepare and submit accurate credit reports to credit bureaus, adhering to all regulatory guidelines and deadlines.
Analyze loan applications, including credit history, financial statements, and supporting documentation to assess creditworthiness and risk.
Reconcile incoming loan payments, accurately update customer accounts, and ensure timely posting of transactions.
Handle loan booking and liquidation procedures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Generate comprehensive loan book reports, providing insights into portfolio performance, trends, and potential risks.
Review and reconcile Intercompany Settlement (ICS) loans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreements.
Assist in the restructuring of loans when necessary, analyzing borrower circumstances and proposing suitable solutions.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of credit analysis processes and procedures.
Process customer refund requests accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Professional certifications are a plus.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation).

WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar role within a lending financial institution.
