HIERARCHIC REPORTINGDIRECT : Regional Manager West AfricaFUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPSINTERNAL : All departments : Sales ; Operations, FinanceEXTERNAL : Agents, Customers, Customs, Shipping LinesPRIMARY MISSIONDevelopment of volume, gross margin and number of customers for Nigeria.He will set his objectives and strategy in agreement with West Africa Regional Manager, and will uphold the company’s image and ethics in the sub region.He will act as interface between customers in Nigeria and the Paris West Africa hub for all issues related to sales, operations, and finance.MAIN TASKS

Take an active part in the definition of the Group commercial strategy in Nigeria
Ensure that the sales strategy defined is implemented in the sub region
Provide and work within a determined budget to achieve results (travel and entertainment)
Set sales targets for the sub region, in co- Paris office
Makes sure sales targets are reached
Provide statistics,  business intelligence   (competition, benchmarking, suggestions of new services etc.) and propose new services in order to increase the Company Group activity and profit in the sub region, including the implementation of LCL services (including disposal of flexitanks, local clearance and delivery …)
Maintain existing customer relationship and regularly reports service performance / client satisfaction to the Paris office
Send weekly activity reports (sales visits, new customers, commercial, political and economic information)
Update of Salesforce.com in terms of sales visits, potential volume per customer, target customers.
Monitor timely payment of customers in the sub region in coordination with Paris office, and report any financial difficulty with anyone of the  Group customers in the sub region.
Travel as and when required within Nigeria to visit customers and to European offices for meetings or trainings.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:University Degree from a recognized Higher Institution.EXPERIENCE:  A minimum of Seven years relevant experience in sales with at least four years of sales management experience in the Shipping industry.
