Role Overview
We seek a Cost Accountant to oversee product costing, inventory control, financial reporting, and profitability analysis. This role is crucial to optimizing Sujimoto’s financial efficiency and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Cost & Financial Analysis
Analyze product costs and advise on pricing strategies for Sujimoto’s hospitality ventures.
Maintain an advanced cost accounting system aligned with Sujimoto’s financial goals.
Provide quarterly market insights and weekly gross profit reports.
Inventory & Pricing Management
Maintain accurate cost records and update pricing in Omega Software (POS).
Track inventory, conduct weekly physical counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
Reconcile daily sales reports with bank statements.
Assist in month-end closing and internal audits for Sujimoto’s financial operations.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years in cost accounting, inventory management, or financial analysis.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Omega Software (POS) or similar accounting systems.
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
ERP experience is a plus.
