Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Operation:
Drive company vans responsibly, avoiding abuse, theft, neglect, or misuse of the vehicle.
Ensure all journeys comply with traffic laws and regulations.
Adhere to all current safety requirements and utilise safe driving techniques.
Use seat belts at all times for both driver and passengers.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Conduct routine checks to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition before use.
Adhere to the manufacturer’s recommendations for service, maintenance, and inspection.
Report any defects or issues that may impact the safe operation of the vehicle to the relevant department.
Reporting:
Report traffic violations promptly to the HR and Admin department.
Provide accurate, comprehensive, and timely reports of any accidents or incidents involving the company vehicle.
Compliance:
Ensure possession of a valid driver’s licence appropriate for the class of vehicle being operated.
Maintain all necessary documents and permits required for the role.
