Major Responsibilities
Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.
Storing excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage.
Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed.
Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items.
Ensuring that cooking utensils are clean before each use.
Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE or OND.
The ideal candidate must be able to prepare at least two or three of the following; Continental cuisine, Italian cuisine, Nigerian cuisine, and Chinese cuisine.
Proven experience working as a Cook or Chef.
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to read and write is compulsory.
