Department/Division/Unit: Surgery
Job Objective/Purpose:
The Consultant Urologist will provide specialized care for urological cases, manage urology patients, and ensure the adherence to clinical practice guidelines.
Reporting Relationships:
Functionally Reports To: Chief of Surgery
Administratively Reports To: Chief of Surgery
Supervises: Medical officers and nurses
Working Relationships:
Internal: Other consultants, medical officers, directors, and nursing staff
External: Clients, patients, and their relatives
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care and management for urological cases, both in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Develop and adhere to clinical practice guidelines.
Conduct ward rounds and specialist outpatient clinics.
Case reporting and documentation.
Perform other duties as required by the department.
Education and Qualifications:
Education: MBBS or its equivalent
Professional Training: Residency in Urology from a recognized institution
Licensing: Valid medical practice license
Professional Qualification: Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College in Urology or its equivalent
Experience:
2 years post-residency experience is desirable.

Work Cycle (Hours/Days):
Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturdays: As per department’s duty schedule
Call duty and weekend coverage as per the department’s rotation.
