Consultant – Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme

Requirements International Consultants:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with higher degree in International Relations, Political Science, Peace and Security Studies, or related disciple
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in conducting research and needs assessment studies preferably in conflict or post conflict settings.
Ability to analyse data and information to generate knowledge and learning
Ability to capture results and demonstrate impact in a systematic way that will be useful to stakeholders (sample might be required)
Excellent analytical, report writing and communication skills (samples might be required)

National Consultants:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with higher degree in International Relations, Political Science, Peace and Security Studies, or related discipline
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in conducting research and needs assessment studies preferably in conflict or post conflict settings.
In-depth knowledge of the conflict dynamics in Nigeria and ability to relate effectively with stakeholders (Government and non-governmental actors)
Proven ability in writing case studies, smart lessons and reports (samples might be required)
Female consultants are encouraged to submit CVs.
Duration for the consultancy will be for a maximum of 21 days spread over a period of one month
Include charge out fee rate per day (in £) in the body of your e-mail
Shortlisting of consultants will be done based on the CV submitted and only shortlisted consultants will be contacted
Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an interview with the selection committee
Selection of the consultant will be evaluated based on technical experience in relevant area, experience in similar sector, and evidence of having done similar jobs.
Any inappropriate actions to influence the selection including personal incentives to staff are not allowed.
