Compliance Officer

Job Summary

We are a logistics and automobile company. We’re in search of a good and experienced Compliance Officer who will be responsible with all corporate processes and procedures in complying with the law.

Responsibilities
He will also be responsible for ensuring that the company’s operations comply with the internal standards. Key responsibilities are the following:

Monitors all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management platform to ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards that applies to logistics industry.
Management of information flow by researching, recording and analyzing data and information, with a regular flow of information and conducting compliance risk assessment by ensuring that the business runs smoothly.
Train and educates staff so that they are informed of any legal changes and updates to compliance guidelines.
Acts as contact person and liaison between departmental heads and senior management.
Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the law.
Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
Revise procedures, report periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR department to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate

Required Skills

B.Sc / BA in Law, Business Administration, Accounting
3 – 5 years of experience.
Analytical thinking and ability
Strong communication skill
Legal and moral integrity
Strategic thinking
In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations
Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
Certified compliance professional is a plus.
